A FREE MAN AND THE SON OF JAMES

So everyone shoud have a 'bio page', right?
Jameson Freeman is an artist whose various forms of self-expression have included dance, acting, modeling, visual art and poetry. Like many neo-generation-Y'ers, he describes himself as an 'artist of living'.
He has performed in diverse theatre projects and venues around Washington, D.C. including The Burke Theatre at the Naval Memorial, Flashpoint, D.C. Arts Center, Busboys & Poets, Warehouse Theater and the Capital Fringe Festival. He has also acted on-screen and has a profound love for the 'short film' genre, as well as 'art house films'. His filmwork has been seen at The Columbia Film Festival, NY Film Academy, Scion xPress Fest in Philadelphia, and film festivals in the D.C. area.
Believing that our lives are our masterpieces, he constantly seeks - and is sometimes surprised with - inspiration from his environment and the people in his life. He attempts to relate every piece of self-expression to the experience of the individual in society.
In 2008, he began an association called FABUM (For A Better Understanding of Mankind) to serve as a point of connection for new ideas and unique art forms. In 2011, FABUM was incorporated as a non-profit organization to support emerging artists and explore human identity through artistic expression. Through the organization, The Dolce Revolution Project was launched in October, 2011 with a playwright competition that garnered national response. Two original scripts were chosen to premier in spring of 2012 as part of what will be an ongoing series of original, creative works.
In his spare time, Jameson writes poetry, studies Ayurveda (although he really, really likes gin), and collaborates with photographers and other artists to create pictorials that have socially-commentative themes, in which he is often featured.
He is constantly experiencing his own change and evolution.
